My name is Jacob Upland, and I founded Upland Transportation, LLC in 2022. I have been working in transportation since 2011 when I drove for CyRide at Iowa State and exclusively in Paratransit since joining Linn County LIFTS in 2017.

When my wife and I moved back to Indianola, Iowa, it became apparent there were unmet needs for transportation in Warren County and the surrounding areas, especially for those who need it the most. I started this company to fill those gaps in service, and prioritize our local clients. In 2023, our first full year of service, we provided over 1,600 rides to passengers, and we have no plans on slowing down from there.

We strive to keep high standards and provide prompt, safe, reliable transportation to Indianola and the surrounding areas and make sure they have access to the medical care they need.
